At the heart of the Padana Valley, Piacenza is a city in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy, and is known for its cured meats, cheeses and wine. There will be a guided tour where we will learn more about this city's rich history.
We will also visit the town of Castell'Arquato, which lies on the hills of Val' D'Arda, in the picturesque province of the Vineyards of Piacenza. It is a well-preserved medieval village with sandstone houses and a history going back to Roman times.
There will be a guided tour of Piacenza and plenty of free time in the cities to explore on your own.
