Lake Bled & Vintgar Gorge, Slovenia

Lake Bled has been the focus of many travel writers, and for good reason. Lake Bled is considered one of the most beautiful destinations in Europe. One of the greatest Slovene poets, France Preseren called Lake Bled the "second Garden of Eden". Just four kilometers away is the beautiful Vintgar Gorge which is the first intact natural gorge accessible to tourists.

What to Expect:

On this trip we will travel to the Lake Bled area via bus. We will begin our day exploring the Vintgar Gorge. We will travel along the boardwalk through the gorge viewing the waterfalls and pools along the way. After the gorge, we will travel to the town of Bled on the shores of Lake Bled where we will spend the rest of the day enjoying free time to spend dining, people watching, shopping or just exploring this beautiful landscape.
