The gothic Duomo di Milano cathedral, the fifth largest cathedral in the world, and the Santa Maria delle Grazie convent housing Leonardo da Vinci’s fresco "The Last Supper" testify to centuries of art and culture.
Milan food is known more for its use of rice and butter rather than pasta and olive oil. You've probably heard of gorgonzola and marscarpone cheese, which are both from Milan!
